Divine Timing and Noetic Science
A few weeks ago my husband and I watched Dan Brown's The Davinci Code and then Angels and Demons. I had read the books when they first came out and I thought he had stopped writing.
Turns out he had kept writing all this time and his 6th book in the Robert Langdon series just came out.
Not wanting to skip ahead, I decided to pick up his 3rd book, The Lost Symbol, first.
You might say it was divine timing to pick up this book NOW, because as it turns out it is all about noetic sciences, which explores the nature of consciousness and its relationship with the physical world. And right as I am in the midst of shifting my business towards manifestation consciousness!
In the book he talks about apotheosis: The symbolic ascent of man to deity. The created becoming the creator.
Most of us manifest from a place of force
This, to me, speaks to the consciousness from which we are creating. We're always manifesting, always creating. It's the consciousness from which we do this that determines whether this process brings us what we truly desire.
Most of us don't really desire more money, more status, more success, more etc.. Deep down, most of us desire freedom.
Freedom in connection, in health, in wealth. Freedom and peace within.
When we manifest something through sheer force and will power, it doesn't give us that freedom. In fact, it ends up being exhausting and stressful. This either leads to burnout or we end up self sabotaging.
This is why the focus shouldn't really be on what you want to manifest, but the consciousness from which you are manifesting.
In the image below, you see the different levels of consciousness that you go through. As you go through these levels of consciousness, you go from being the created to being the creator.
When living in fear has become the default, manifesting becomes a way to control
At the lower levels, you see "At the mercy" and in-fear-iority consciousness. I will do a more in-depth post on these soon, because most people are actually at this level of consciousness.
This is where your intellect is leading, rather than intuition, even though you consider yourself spiritual. You're more in your head than in your body. You want to figure out the how and to take care of things yourself, rather than letting it unfold naturally.
Subconsciously, you are operating from inferiority, scarcity and impossibility.
Telltale signs are desperately hustling, procrastinating, comparing yourself with others, numbing yourself, feeling impatient and frustrated, just to name a few.
This level of consciousness is where the Doom Loop™ is active. There's a fear of trust, of letting go of control.
Freedom comes from trusting the unknown
In order to get to the next level of consciousness (FAITH), you need to transcend the identity that believes in inferiority, scarcity and impossibility. You also need to clear your relationship with the sensation of "it's out of my hands" and break the illusion of separation.
In Faith Consciousness you are building a greater tolerance for when things are beyond your control, and learning to trust the Unknown. Your body starts communicating your yeses and no's more clearly, intuition starts shining through. You can start experimenting and having fun with manifesting.
Freedom consciousness is all about embodying the universal laws and ditching societal norms and rules that go against this. It's a process of unlearning, de-matrixing, and deschooling in a way. You're letting go of the shoulds and "this is how things work," letting the unknown future be just that: unknown.
And U consciousness is essentially unattached surrender. You're not focused on manifesting at all. I remember reading Michael Singer's book "The Surrender Experiment" in which he describes completely letting go of making the outside world conform to his desires.
It's an ascent that takes time. And also one where going slow means you actually go faster than when you try to get there faster.
